iParametrics’ Kirby McCrary, Guest Speaker at National Hurricane Conference

Hurricane season is underway and the 2009 National Hurricane Conference took place last week at the Austin Convention Center in Austin, Texas. iParametrics’ Manager of Technical Fulfillment & Field Liaison, Kirby McCrary, was a guest speaker at the event.

The topic of Mr. McCrary’s presentation last Monday was “Debris Management Plan ­– An Overview of the FEMA Revised Field Course.”  The focus of instruction was to identify the appropriate personnel to be included in the Debris Management Plan (DMP) Team, and the various components of a DMP.

It comes as no surprise that Mr. McCrary was invited to present, given his depth of knowledge on this subject and his years of experience in the industry. It was a well-attended event and a wealth of information for the attendees.

iParametrics continues to respond to national disasters, helping communities to recover from the damages wrought. We still have team members in the field from disasters dating back as far as Hurricane Katrina, and are on-call to provide services where they are needed.
