IPARAMETRICS TO PROVIDE TECHNICAL AND ENGINEERING SERVICES IN SUPPORT OF LOGCAP IV CONTRACT

Fluor Corporation has chosen iParametrics to provide support on their LOGCAP IV contract with the U.S. Army. The Logistics Civil Augmentation Program (LOGCAP) originated in 1985 as a way for the U.S. Army to leverage civilian resources in the form of humanitarian assistance, disaster relief, and peacekeeping services to support military objectives. By using private sector contractors to perform on a broad range of logistics and support services, including engineering/construction oriented contingency contracts, the Department of Defense is able to free up military troops to focus on their defense missions.

LOGCAP IV differs from its predecessors in that three companies were awarded contracts under an
open competition process as opposed to one company. This allows for enhanced quality and competitive pricing. The LOGCAP IV IDIQ (Indefinite Quantity/Indefinite Delivery) performance contracts awarded
in 2008 have the potential of spanning 10 years with a maximum cumulative value of $150 billion.

Fluor was one of the three companies awarded the LOGCAP IV IDIQ, and was recently selected for a task order involving work for 74 operating bases. Performance details will include logistics support, base operations, construction, and sustainment services.
