iParametrics to Support BOVIS Lend Lease on Multi-Billion Dollar Los Angeles Unified School District (LAUSD) Project

iParametrics has been retained by BOVIS Lend Lease to provide program management and support services to the LAUSD New Facilities Program.

LAUSD is the second largest school system in the United States, serving a population of over four million.  Over time, insufficient funding has resulted in overcrowded facilities, many of which are run down or out of date. Additionally, students in remote areas of Los Angeles are faced with long commutes.

This $20+ billion project focuses on both renovation and new construction, and is the largest project of this type in LAUSD history.  By 2012, the LAUSD hopes to have 150 new schools and over 18,000 modernization projects completed, resulting in 180,000 new classroom seats. iParametrics’ employees will focus on new school construction.
