iParametrics Mobilizes Personnel in Support of Hurricane Rita

 

iParametrics has mobilized technical staff as part of the nation's response and recovery effort to the damage caused by Hurricane Rita. Our technical staff is participating as members of the Federal Aid Representative team under FEMA's Public Assistance Program. Rita made landfall on September 24 near the Texas-Louisiana border as a Category 3 hurricane. It continued on through parts of southeast Texas. The storm surge caused extensive damage along the Louisiana and Southeast Texas coasts, completely destroying numerous coastal communities.

 

Rita was the fourth-most intense Atlantic hurricane ever recorded and the most intense tropical cyclone ever observed in the Gulf of Mexico. The storm has caused an estimated $10 billion in damage to the U.S. Gulf Coast region.
