Disaster Recovery, Hurricane Ida
Hurricane Ida caused extensive damage to Port Fourchon and the South Lafourche Leonard Miller, Jr. Airport in August 2021. iParametrics was selected to lead recovery coordination and federal grants management to restore infrastructure critical to offshore energy and aviation logistics.
Situation
Severe storm impacts damaged docks, communication systems, airport structures, and essential port infrastructure. The Lafourche Port Commission required structured, compliant recovery management to meet FEMA criteria and expedite repair and reimbursement.
Task
iParametrics was engaged to provide end-to-end oversight for grants management, damage documentation, design coordination, FEMA compliance, and regulatory submissions. We managed both Port Fourchon and the airport recovery efforts from assessment to bid support.

Our team conducted detailed site inspections, RS Means cost estimates, and FEMA project tracking. We led grant documentation, coordinated with floodplain officials, oversaw design procurement, and guided project scopes to align with eligibility and mitigation opportunities.
