ARPA Grant Program Administration

Seward County is located on the southern border of Kansas, covers over 600 square miles, and includes a population of almost 23,000 residents. In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, the County sought expert assistance to manage federal disaster recovery funding. iParametrics was selected to support FEMA Public Assistance reimbursements and deliver four relief programs targeting residents, small businesses, and nonprofits.

Situation

Seward County received major disaster designation and was eligible for FEMA PA and federal recovery funds. The County needed support to ensure effective program design, regulatory compliance, and timely disbursement of COVID-19 relief resources.

Task

iParametrics was retained to provide grant management, technical assistance, and outreach for COVID-19 cost recovery. Responsibilities included designing and implementing relief programs for housing, businesses, and community support.

Action

Our team launched four recovery programs targeting rental/mortgage assistance, business grants, nonprofit reimbursements, and community initiatives. We provided technical consulting for FEMA PA and delivered training, outreach, and tracking tools to ensure effective execution.

Result

We managed over $7 million in funding and served 467 households (84% LMI), 65 small businesses, and 39 organizations. The County benefited from streamlined program implementation and enhanced compliance with federal cost recovery protocols.
