U.S. Army Corps of Engineers:

Langley Air Force Base Cyber Operations Facility

The US Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) provides programmatic policy and management of the worldwide military construction programs assigned to USACE as a designated DoD agent with responsibility for delivery of facilities and infrastructure supporting the Army, Air Force, and Defense Agencies. Responsibilities include strategic planning, mission area policy, leadership of the Program and Project Management Community of Practice, and resource and policy integration for all Military Program mission lines.

Situation

USACE required architectural and engineering support to deliver highly specialized infrastructure, including Sensitive Compartmented Information Facilities (SCIFs), across defense installations. The Langley AFB project supported the 185th Cyberspace Operations Squadron and required precise cost engineering and security design integration.

Task

iParametrics was tasked with cost estimating, value engineering, and economic analysis for the design and construction of a Cyber Operations Facility. The scope included support for facility planning, SCIF construction requirements, and coordination with military stakeholders.

Action

Our team provided phased planning support, value engineering services, and financial modeling aligned with federal requirements. We worked in close coordination with WSP and USACE to ensure all design elements met military construction and cybersecurity infrastructure standards.

Result

iParametrics successfully delivered comprehensive cost and value engineering that informed the execution of the Langley AFB Cyber Operations Facility. The work advanced mission readiness and delivered cost-effective design strategies for national security infrastructure.
