Military Installation Resilience Review (MIRR)

 

Pine Bluff Arsenal in Arkansas required a resilience strategy to protect operations and surrounding communities from winter storms, floods, and tornadoes. As part of the MIRR initiative, iParametrics was tasked with identifying gaps and proposing actionable, cost-effective solutions that ensured mission continuity under adverse conditions.

Situation

With infrastructure and communication vulnerabilities threatening mission assurance, the Arsenal launched a MIRR under OLDCC to enhance readiness and strengthen coordination with local communities.

Task

iParametrics cataloged threats, assessed critical infrastructure, and evaluated workforce and utility vulnerabilities. We were tasked with delivering a targeted roadmap of resilience investments and implementation strategies.

Action

Our team led data collection, stakeholder interviews, and site assessments. We facilitated scenario-based workshops and designed mitigation projects ranging from infrastructure upgrades to policy adjustments, alongside tabletop exercises and planning hotwashes.

Result

The MIRR provided the Arsenal with a mission-aligned plan to reinforce operations. Key strategies addressed utility resilience, improved access, and critical infrastructure gaps empowering leadership to protect the installation while advancing regional safety.
